I knew it was going to be that type of game, when anaheim hit 2 posts (i think on their first 6 shots?) while the bruins were pretty much setting the tone all first period. I can live with a ppg given up every now and then, but to throw in a shorty too? That ended my night. Rask didn't look comfortable at all, and hiller was very sharp as he has been the past few weeks.
P.S. Chiarelli needs to be working the phones which im sure he is, but I'm just not feeling it with this team especially against the western conference. |

Bit of a weird game, not really disappointed in the effort. Ducks are good, Hiller was fantastic, Tuukka wasn't (although he wasn't awful). That Large Pepperoni & Mushroom that Smith served up on the PP was the nail in the coffin. |

Not to worry guys. You have the recent 1-5-1 kings up next with their 0.5 shot%.
Hey, at least I have Tuukka on my fantasy team I guess. |

15 shots and no goals in the first period never ends well. Oh, and Don Van Massengill. |

Fell asleep halfway through the 2nd, but I thought they were playing well. Soderberg was flying around the ice, and the Bergeron line was generating some great chances. Hiller bailed his defenseman out a lot in the early stages of the game. Tough way to start the road trip and it's only going to get tougher.
Hopefully the Bruins start putting it all together because they have LA(2), SJ, Tor, Dal, Chi all in the next two weeks. It could get ugly real fast, and TB is only 2 points back and Montreal 3. |

Oh, and Don Van Massengill. - yinzer_nation
Was he the one who missed the blatant elbow to Perrault's head which lead directly to the B's first goal? |

the second period stats surprise me, I would have thought it was the first period where they were outscored. |

The second period has left a lot be desired this season. |

That's one of those games you start thinking about missing Siedenberg. - GSDIV
Certainly does. According to Ek the Bruins are in on Erhoff? |

with his contract I doubt it, not that he's overpaid but he has a very long contract.

Right.I imagine they would only be seeking a rental. Plus I'm not sure Buffalo would deal with Boston. Lot of bad blood at the moment. |
